Abstract : The report summarizes the results of an investigation to determine physical, chemical and selected engineering properties of six Southeast Asian soils encountered in pavement facility construction. Lime and cement manufactured in the United States were used to stabilize or otherwise improve the engineering characteristics (plasticity, moisture-density, and California Bearing Ratio) of the soils.
