Abstract : The paper considers a mathematical description of the echo pulses from an elastic spherical shell in a liquid which arise as a result of the action of an incident pulse. The motion of the shell is described by a theory of the Timoshenko type, and the fluid is assumed to be ideal and compressible. (Author)
