Abstract : Two bipropellant rocket engines were analyzed for total plume contaminant production and a specific vehicular effect of the vehicle-deposited contaminant when operated with a prescribed satellite configuration and engine duty cycle. The two engines analyzed were the Rocketdyne RS-2101 and the Marquardt R 23-B. The vehicular effect analyzed was electrical power loss from degradation of the solar cell array.
