Abstract : The reflected shock wave that results from the interaction of a shock wave with a surface has been of interest for years and there have been many experimental studies of the interaction. The data from these experiments have been used for predictions of shock loading on structures and optimum heights of burst for weapons. The task described in this report was to measure the reflected shock pressure ratios, as a function of angle of incidence, primarily in the Mach reflection region, at shock pressure ratios up to 29.
