Abstract : The use of high-speed heating after cold plastic deformation of alloy VT 15 makes it possible to obtain a finegrained and uniform-grained structure, as a result of which subsequent annealing gives higher plastic and strength properties than during oven heating. In hardened to beta-phase and cold-worked alloy VT 15 with subsequent quenching with electric-contact heating in the temperature range of 600-950C two-phase disintegration of beta-phase was observed. With an increase in the rate of heating, two-phase disintegration is shifted into the range of elevated temperatures. (Author)
