Abstract : Determining the structure and parameters of the boundary layer formed on the profile, and establishing the transition and breakaway points of the layer are an important part of the problem in determining the heat transfer intensity and the magnitude of profile losses in the turbine cascade. Particularly interesting is the determination of the transition region coordinates under the conditions of increased flow turbulence. Some literature sources point out that in the turbulence level of flow above 1% the entire profile of the blade is occupied by turbulent boundary layer. (Author)
