Abstract : Monochromaticity of laser emission in conjunction with the small angle of divergence (5-20') are very promising from the point of view of elimination of the effect of glow near bodies moving at high speeds, and the possibility of the forming of light beams of the required diameters with very good parallelism (about 30 seconds). At the same time, coherence of laser emissions able to cause undesirable interference phenomena which are superimposed on the image of the object being photographed, and the heterogeneous energy distribution across the beam can be an additional complication when using laser in shadow photography. This work is dedicated to research on the possibilities of using laser emission for the illumination of moving objects during their shadow photography. (Author)
