Abstract : The Technical Development Plan (TDP) is one in a series of program plans published to document the Engineering and Development activities of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). It provides a functional description, a technical approach and a management and fiscal plan for the development of an Automated Oceanic Air Traffic Control (ATC) System. This system is necessary to provide improvements and efficiencies in the current manual method of ATC in the oceanic environment. (Author)
