Abstract : Theoretical studies and empirical investigations presented in the report will prove that frontal pressure does exist, that this physical phenomena may well be one of the most reliable environments a projectile encounters from gun launch to the target, and that the use of this environment might solve the perplexing problem of satisfying MIL-STD-1316A for non-spin gun-launched ammunition.
