Abstract : A finite difference method is proposed, which makes it possible to calculate the detonation and the emergence of the shock wave from the explosive into the gas. The computed relationship of the temperature of the shock wave in the gas to its velocity coincided well with the experimental data. The calculations showed that by means of explosions it is possible to create a plasma with a temperature of up to 4 eV and a pressure of up to 3,000 atmospheres. (Author)
