Abstract : The application of O-G simulation by rotation is extended to the development of Ascaris suum. A theoretical discussion of the effect of physically definable forces on the functions of the cell is followed by the explanation of the results during O-G. By the application of high acceleration and immediately following weightlessness or normal 1-G differences in the reorganization of cytoplasmic substances could be possible in accordance with theoretical considerations. Neither differences nor defects were visible in light microscopy. Stratified eggs also show normal development during continued centrifugation; this induces the existence of a still unknown mechanism of regulation in the progressed state of development. (Author)
