Abstract : A digital computer program for three-dimensional stress analysis of complex structures is presented. The solution is based on the finite element technique employing a general 8-nodalpoint element with 3 translational degrees of freedom per nodal point. The UNIVAC 1108 computer program is coded in FORTRAN IV; the plotting capabilities are designed for use with the SC-4060 software. (Author)
