Abstract : The following are proposed as basic technical criteria for selecting effective lubricating cooling liquids and rational modes for polishing: (a) rate of processing (g/min, cu mm/min); (b) specific yield of circles of synthetic ultrahard materials (mg.g, mg/cu cm); (c) the quality of the treated surface (roughness presence of a defect layer).
