Abstract : A computer program to analyze air traffic in the North Atlantic ocean is described. Three program options allow the user to obtain a bird's-eye view of the zone traffic at a specified instant of time, determine the flights which pass through a specified geographic box, and determine the time order and latitude of flights crossing a specified longitude. Typical results showing the instantaneous airborne count, amount of traffic passing through a geographic zone, and number of flights per hour versus time are given for two days in 1972. Data was extracted from the Airline Guide. (Author)
