Abstract : In February 1969, instruments were installed and tests conducted to measure structure movements imposed by antenna loading at the AMRAD facility. A similar series of tests, conducted in 1963 to evaluate the dynamic characteristics of the structure immediately after construction, is described in the report to which this is an appendix. The basic report describes in detail the test plan and frequency and displacement measurements, and gives a complete analysis thereof. This appendix gives comparable findings from tests to determine the dynamic characteristics of the structure after five years. General conclusions from the 1969 tests are that the dynamic performance of the structure is essentially unchanged since 1963. Apparently foundation problems are of a static rather than dynamic nature. (Author)
