Abstract : The present work studies the solution of a two-phase Stefan type problem for a quasilinear parabolic equations by the method of straight lines. The basis for this method and the proof of the existence and uniqueness of the solution were obtained in the presence of fairly weak limitations on the given problems. (Author)
