Abstract : A study is reported of the extent of satisfaction/dissatisfaction, for 710 billet incumbents of the aerographer's mate (AG) rating, based on 33 job factors and two overall measures of satisfaction. Differences, if any, based on military paygrade, reenlistment intention, sex, and mental ability level for these billet incumbents are studied. In terms of all AG's, those job factors which are relatively more satisfying and relatively more dissatisfying are ascertained. Recommendations are made to improve upon the analysis of job satisfaction in other Navy ratings. (Author Modified Abstract)
