Abstract : The report describes a computer program for the net internal performance evaluation of ramjet engines. One-dimensional gasdynamics is used with no consideration of boundary layer effects, shock-boundary layer interactions, or external and inlet drag terms. Equilibrium thermochemical calculations are used throughout the engine, and both equilibrium and frozen thermochemistry are used at the nozzle exit. For each run, the performance is printed out for the ideal gas case, the case with equilibrium thermochemistry throughout, and the case with equilibrium thermochemistry up to the nozzle throat, and then a frozen exit. The program was written for the CDC 6600 computer system and uses the random access mass storage feature. (Author)
