Abstract : The research proposed has the following objectives: Prepare or to purchase specific antisera against mouse lymphoid cell-associated immunoglobulin components or lymphocyte-specific antigens (e.g., gamma-globulin, kappa and lambda light chains or to the 0 antigen); Selectively absorb these antisera so that they retain their specific activity but manifest no deleterious effect on erythroid or myeloid stem cells; Use such antisera in the treatment of donor mice or donor bone marrow cells in an effort to eliminate mature lymphoid cells and so give 100% one hundred day survival in a graft-versus-host system that would otherwise be 100% lethal. The report details the present status of the work.
