Abstract : A study of a solution for a stationary problem of heat transfer by radiation and heat conduction is presented for an absorbing and isotropically dispersing gray medium for the case of its variable physical characteristics, which for the conditions of the diffusibility of limiting radiation is reduced to the generalized Dirichlet's problem. This problem is solved by methods of the theory of heat potentials or generalized heat potentials depending on the manner of presenting heat transfer coefficient of an environment in the form of temperature functions or point functions.
