Abstract : Four subjects breathed air containing 200 ppm carbon monoxide for 45, 90, and 180 minutes. A wide variety of visual processes were tested. Scotopic sensitivity, reaction time, and evoked cortical responses often appeared to indicate a decrement in performance after 90 minutes of exposure followed by improvement after 180 minutes of exposure. The study will be continued with an expanded group of subjects. (Author)
