Report Date : OCT 1972

Pagination or Media Count : 252

Abstract : The report estimates the technical characteristics and capabilities of data-processing systems, subsystems, and components that are likely to be available or that could be developed for Air Force command and control (CC) system applications in the 1980s. The forecasts are based on a conservative 'suprise-free' approach which results in projections that do not depend on future technological breaktrhoughs for their validity. Implicit in these forecasts is, however, the expected continuation of at least the present rate of research and development.
