Abstract : The author reports preliminary results of measurements of spin lattice relaxation time (T1) of Na23 nucleus in NaF single crystals. The measurement of relaxation times was carried out on a phase coherent pulsed NMR spectrometer at a resonant frequency of 5.5 Mc/sec. The relaxation times were measured using the standard techniques: Picket 90 degrees pulse method for relaxation times longer than 1 sec and 180 degree-90 degree pulse sequence for shorter times.
