Abstract : Calculations have been made of the hit probabilities associated with varouis conventional fire control systems used with main caliber tank armament. Comparisons of these data with similar probabilities for systems employing a miss distance indicator have also been made. Preliminary conclusions about the applicability of miss distance measurement to tank systems are also included. (Author)
