Abstract : The report describes the mathematical methods and physical models required for the development of an improved rocket trajectory analysis program. This program performs optimal smoothing of radar generated tracking data when these data are available and performs trajectory prediction in those regions where tracking data are not available. The capability of combining radar generated trajectory data from two or more tracking radars to obtain an optimum multiradar trajectory estimate has also been incorporated. (Author)
