Abstract : An understanding of the rules governing the dissolution of additions of different elements in an alloy base as a function of their position in the periodic Mendeleyev system is of great practical and theoretical importance. Data on the solubility limits in a solid state in aluminum, titanium, and iron are given and others. This article is devoted to clarifying these rules, taking into account the atomic and crystal structure of elements for alloys on an aluminum and titanium base. An attempt is made simultaneously to establish the rules governing the influence of these additions on the technological properties of alloys, particularly the fluidity of alloys. (Author)
