Abstract : A FORMAC (FORmula MAnipulation Compiler) program is documented and illustrative examples are given. The program is used to derive exact solutions of the matrix equation AX = B where A and B may depend on parameters (not on elements of X). A modification of Cramer's Rule is used to define the solution. Provision is made in the program to perform manipulative operations on the solution, if desired. A listing of the program is provided.
