Abstract : Perturbation solutions are given for multicomponent, variable-property forced convection along rigid interfaces of arbitrary shape. The development holds asymptotically with increasing Prandtl and Schmidt numbers, and is accurate to second order in the driving forces. Consistent with this order of approximation, the fluid properties are taken as linear functions of temperature or enthalpy, and of the mixture composition. The results include new reference-state rules for short-cut calculations. (Author)
