Abstract : The note analyzes the procedures for preliminary orbit determination based on sparse data from the TDAR system Error analyses of the initial orbit generation in the case of the single-telescope and parallax schemes are performed. A model for the angular error in prediction based on the initial orbit is set up and used as a means of comparison of the two schemes. (Author)
