Abstract : The report supported by Volume 2, is the final report on work performed in response to US Army Combat Developments Command (USACDC) Work Directive 5-72, Evaluation of Intelligence Collection Tasks (EVICT). The study explores the feasibility of a systems analysis of field army intelligence collection. Specific objectives of the study are as follows: conceptualize the intelligence collection system; and, determine the feasibility of performing a cost-effectiveness analysis of the entire collection system. The report describes the results of the EVICT study effort with emphasis on those results which pertain to the feasibility of performing cost-effectiveness analyses of the field army intelligence collection system. The report is in two volumes.
