Abstract : Aerial treatment has become quite prevalent in agriculture. The efficiency of aerial treatment depends on the biological and technical capabilities, and how efficiently these capabilities are used. The author singles out the following basic indices of aerial treatment: Evenness of cover of the treated surface by the material; average amount of material per unit of treated surface; the working width; fractional makeup of drops during spraying; and, nature of the coverage of plants by the material.
