Abstract : A rapid, sensitive gas chromatographic procedure for the analysis of mustard gas collected from air in hydrocarbon solvents has been developed to replace the 4-(4'-nitrobenzyl)pyridine method. Decalin is used as the solvent for collection of the mustard. The method is capable of detecting as little as 0.2 ng of mustard in a 1-microliter injection. (Modified author abstract)
