Abstract : In experimental aerodynamics the familiar method of pressure determination limits the test capabilities due to the need for positioning a large number of sensors on the model. The present method obtains a continuous pressure distribution on models having complex shapes by coating a nonheat-conducting model with two heat-indicating coatings having different time dependent critical temperatures.
