Abstract : The purpose of the thesis is to summarize some game theoretical models which can be applied to situations of conflict between two opponents. Opponent one's objective is to guard a long and narrow strait, with his high speed boats, against the other who tries to cross. The models considered are zero sum game models, games with different payoff functions and a game with deadline where the game must be terminated in a predetermined period. (Author)
