Abstract : An electronic circuit to digitally lock a two-axis servo test table is described in detail. The circuit consists of a digitally controlled phase comparison servo loop that uses the output of a multipole resolver to obtain stability in the fractional arc-second range. This technique is generally applicable to the problem of precision digital control of rotating systems. (Author)
