Abstract : The differences between adaptive and behavioral strategies for a class of sequential games are elucidated in the paper. It is shown for the case of interest that the set of behavioral strategies is smaller than the set of adaptive strategies, and that any adaptive strategy can be mapped onto a behavioral strategy. Application of the results to allocation of tactical aircraft using the OPTSA 2 model is discussed. (Author)
