Abstract : A method is presented for the computation of a random path of a moving vehicle. Each generated path consists of a collection of circular arcs and straight line segments and has a continuous first derivative at the join points. Each path is a random function depending upon piece-wise constant functions of three random variables, slope, radius of curvature and acceleration. The paths may be useful in the analysis of the trade-off between maneuverability and survivability and in the computation of lead error and other related studies. (Author)
