Abstract : The report describes development of the AEROSOL program for modeling growth of water and ice particles in nuclear-explosion clouds. AEROSOL has been developed for incorporation into an expanded version of the SHELL hydrocode which describes the evolution of the nuclear cloud environment. The report summarizes the physics, mathematical formulation, and particle-size classification scheme used in the program. It includes a listing of the AEROSOL program and recommendations for further program development. (Author)
