Abstract : A low aging piezoelectric ceramic composition was developed. The chosen composition had K = 1200 and k(P) = .47. Aging rates are 0.5%, 0.1% and 0.2% per decade for K, f(r), and k(p) respectively. At 4 KV/cm RMS and 60 Hz, delta K was 17% and tan delta about 0.04. Total excursions of dielectric constant for 50 applications of 10 kpsi were -4% to +7.5%. Fabrication procedures were chosen to be compatible with present manufacturing methods. (Author)
