Abstract : An evaluation was made of FAA spectrum characteristics analysis and measurement capabilities and requirements. This evaluation covers existing and future FAA equipment which have an impact on the measurement instruments required. Recommendations for measurement techniques and new measurement instrumentation are included along with outline drawings showing these instruments configured in a mobile facility. Determination of the feasibility of developing miniaturized SCAM equipment was accomplished, and suggested configurations are presented. (Author)
