Abstract : Variations in the strength of received signal levels on tropospheric scatter radio-communication links were compared with atmospheric conditions along the propagation path as inferred from cloud cover photographed by meteorological satellites. The primary objective was to see whether changes in signal levels were related to satellite-viewed cloud cover. (Modified author abstract)
