Abstract : Differential capacity data for the mercury/solution interface in ethylene carbonate solutions of KPF6 + KI at constant ionic strength are presented. From an analysis of the data it is shown that the standard free energy of adsorption of iodide ion from this solvent is larger than from protic solvents. Other parameters characterising the adsoprtion are compared with those obtained previously in other solvents. (Author)
