Abstract : A study is reported of the effect of steady magnetic field (SMF) on formations of the rabbit brain and the dependence of the brain's electrical response to SMF on the degree of excitability of the formations tested using chronically implanted electrodes. Experiments were performed on 13 rabbits, which were subjected to a total of 2803 one-minute exposure to SMF (intensity - 460 oersteds). (Author)
