Abstract : Investigations showed that bile from the gall bladder and the ducts, duodenal bile, and also a 33% solution of magnesium sulfate, ordinarily used to obtain the B-portion of duodenal bile, did not suppress the growth of the test culture and thus could not influence the results of determination of monomycin and erythromycin in the bile.
