Abstract : Intracutaneous tests with soluble antigen became positive in Q-fever patients after the 5th day from onset of the disease; the maximum reaction in early cases occurred after 24 hours in the majority of patients, and began to fade out by 48 hours. Soluble antigen administered intracutaneously in a quantity of 0.1 mz did not cause allergization of the organism or the formation of complement-fixing antibodies. The soluble antigen can be recommended as a diagnostic means for recognition of early cases of Q-fever.
