Abstract : Measurements of hydrogen fluoride vibrational state populations in several unimolecular elimination laser systems indicate that 10-15% of the reaction exoergicity is channeled into HF vibration. The mode of reactant formation influences energy partitioning in CH3CH2F(+) decomposition. (Author)
