Abstract : The study consisted of three major components -- workload determination, facilities planning, and costs development. Westinghouse collected data at TAFB which were analyzed using it demand models to project the health care resources required. Management decisions made by the Air Force regarding services for various of the population segments were then combined with the demand model results to produce the final facility workloads. Using the workload units derived in the Westinghouse analysis, a total facility model was developed for the NGMH hospital which would meet -- efficiently and economically -- the specified final facility workload.
