Abstract : The mathematical theory of differential games is used to study the structure of optimal allocation strategies for some time-sequential combat games with combat described by Lanchester-type equations of warfare. Although most of this work concerns the application of existing theory for the determination of optimal campaign strategies in various Lanchester-type differential games of tactical interest, theoretical developments are also given consideration.
