Abstract : Methods of measuring the polarization parameters of electromagnetic waves are described and compared. Five methods are presented: polarization diagram method; compensation method; method of decomposing the wave into orthogonally polarized components; method of several antennas; and modulation method. Components and units of radars with polarization selection of signals are discussed.
