Abstract : The report proposes the incorporation of computer aided design and engineering (CAD-E) into the existing program at the US Army Materiel Command's (USAMC) Intern Training Center (ITC). The benefits of CAD-E as well as the requirements and procedures for the implementation of CAD-E into the programs at the ITC are presented. A discussion of the three types (passive, moderate-cost active, and large active systems) of computer graphics terminals are presented. It is the conclusion of the report that the introduction of CAD-E at the ITC is desirable and recommendations for future research are discussed. (Author)
